Is your Management Team Competent
No one person can run a successful home business opportunity. Behind any successful company you will find an experienced and competent management team. Notice the words experienced and competent. I choose those two words because experience is very important to overcome obsticals as the company grows. Competent is a carefully chosen word because so often companies will tell you they have an experienced management team but that does not mean they have a good track record. Some companies confuse the age of the management team with experience. Just because someone has been doing something for an extended period of time does not mean they are good at it or that they have been doing it right. Some people know how to make money and some do not. Some can manage a company and some cannot.
A good management team is expensive. Companies that stand the test of time have great senior management and legal support. Understand there will always be challenges both in the day to day operation of the business and legally. The best work from home companies will spend the money to insure the team is solid. In order for the company to spend the money for the right team it needs to have the money to do so. Any legitimate work from home company will have a solid legal team in place to insure against any legal challenges. Money making schemes do not plan on being around long enough to concern themselves with legal challenges. Cash gifting and cash gifting programs are examples of programs that are here today and gone tomorrow. Typically run by reps only with no main company to speak of.
The CEO is typically the inspiration for the company administratively and for the reps in the field. For some companies the CEO can have had experience in the industry as a rep. Some of the best management teams have experienced members from both corporate America and successful former reps. Some companies will tell you that one is better than the other. I have found that a combination of both is best because the needs of the reps in the field are as important as the needs at the corporate office. In a network marketing or home based business company each side is dependent on the other. No reps means no customers. No customers means no product sales. No product sales means no company is needed.
